HughPORTEOUSThe family of the late Hugh Porteous would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy received following his recent sad passing.
Many thanks also to the staff at D&G Royal Infirmary, particularly the Oncology Department and the Macmillan nurses Nigel and Jane, who looked after Hugh with such kindness and compassion for an extended period.
Thanks must also be extended to the staff at Castle Douglas Community Hospital and the Macmillan nurse Kirsty, who looked after Hugh in his final days.
The family would also like to express thanks to Ian, Kimberley and team at Ian Bendall Funeral Directors for their support and guidance throughout. Also thanks to Rev. Pam Bellis for a wonderful service, comfort and words on the day.
A final thank you to everyone for their contributions to Castle Douglas Medical Centre and Community Hospital.
